What went will in this class? What went well in this class was the amount of topics that we got in the beginning, it was nice to see how others did Marco, or Black and White and having a chance to criticize the images that my classmates have presented. I also find it strong that I could use my own personal camera to take my own photos to everyone so they can see. What did you struggle in?I struggled most with the due dates and getting the photos in, I wish I did a better job at that and it caused my grade to tank down. However, overall, I think I did good in this class. Best Photos:

Why this photo?:This photo represents history in Ohio in a museum I went to last weekend. This building looks like the Washington Monument, and what I like is the fence that is in front. The only problem I have is that its tilted a little, but it's still my best photo. Camera details:F-Stop: 5.0 Shutter Speed: 1/1000 ISO: 100 Reflection:This photo was a nice one, despite the image being tilted. The photo was fairly easy to pick due to me using another image for Black and White, so when I looked at my history photos, I got them through photo 5.
Why this photo? This photo I believe is the best due to how it shows the depth of field on the image and the building in the back. It gives a nice look with the black and white, since it was way back in the day, that shows the History part of the image. Camera details:F-Stop: 5.0 Shutter Speed: 1/320 ISO: 80 Reflection:Black and White was difficult to do with finding the setting for Black and White, once I found it though, it was fun to see the different photos on my camera and have to pick which ones were best.
Best Photo:Why this photo? This photo is the best in my opinion due to the lights and the stairs representing a pathway to get to somewhere. I liked the lights as well, it gives a nice look to it. Camera Information:F-Stop: 4.0 Shutter Speed: 1/20 ISO: 1600 Reflection:Photo 4 was a good photo, I liked how I did the "night time" theme to it and made it look romantic and beautiful there. I'm proud, but not entirely proud of the final product, I'm glad that my mom helped me with this, and overall this was a good/decent photo.
What was this assignment? This assignment was about using tutorials that students found online and to make an image with them. I went for a space theme such as a planet over a couple of mountains. I had to do two separate tutorials to make one big image. ReflectionOverall, this was fun! I had a hard time figuring what to do and how long both tutorials took, which was stressful for me to do and I'm proud of the final result for the image and the Dash of Color image.
Photo Description:For photo 3, I decided to do nature, nature is beautiful, and we all know that. This photo was edited to make it a little more darker. The photo was at Millpond park, the river nearby the playhouse. It was muggy there, but the quality was still good nonetheless. Camera details: F-stop: 4.0 Shutter Speed: 1/1000 ISO: 1250 Summary:To summarize this, the photo was alright. It wasn't too great, but I did like how I got the water available and present with the rocks and the wall in front of it. I could've added a subject, but I couldn't decide on what subject to do due to how it won't show the "nature" as much.
What I did for the assignment:What I did for this assignment was simple. We take a photo of a part of the school and edit it to make it a fantasy. I went with the space, astronomy look to the picture, having two astronauts in the school while on a planet surface with someone painting in the background. Summary:The photoshop assignment was fun to do, it was nice to learn new tools and help others with theirs, it sort of helped me branched out and talk to new people about something I can do. It also helped me more learn about photoshop and its tools for future assignments.
For photo 2, I decided to do the photo of my cat Franny, or Fran. I chose this as my best due to how it shows her green eyes and gives a curious look to the picture. This photo had no editing involved. Camera details: F-Stop: f/5.0 Shutter Speed: 1/10 ISO: 1600 Reflection:Photo 2 was a decent one. I wouldn't say it's my greatest, but I think I did okay at this. I hope I get to do more motion type photography for photo 3 and make it something I'm interested in and what I like.
AnimalsFor week 2, I've decided to do animals. I have a cat at my house and my grandfather has a dog, so I would like some photos of them. I hope after this I can get better with depth of field. Inspiration Photos:Description of Photo:So the photo of the topic "People", I decided to post was a picture of my mom outside looking towards the camera. There was no editing involved and it was on Auto, what I did was let my mom walk towards our playground in our neighborhood and have her stop at a certain point, then she turned her body to the side with her head looking at me. Information on Camera: Shutter Speed = 1/125 Aperture = f/5.0 ISO = 500 Summary: To summarize this, I had fun doing this despite the cold. It was nice to see my family and learn about my new camera I just got yesterday. The Camera is a Powershot SX540 HS and I highly recommend this camera to others if they're taking this class.
